Your solar journey, simplified
from start to finish.
We guide you through every step of your solar installation process, including tracking your Solar Renewable Energy Certificates (SRECs). Below is an outline of the timeline and key stages you can expect throughout the process.
Sign Contract & Start SREC Process
📃 contract signed
Once you sign the contract, we start your SREC application process.
Our team submits the necessary documentation to ensure you're on track to earn SRECs once your system is operational.
Interconnection Application
We submit the interconnection application to your utility company on your behalf, which allows your solar system to connect to the utility grid.
Timing: Typically takes 2-6 weeks for submission and approval, depending on the utility company.
Permitting
At the same time, we start obtaining the necessary permits from your local jurisdiction.

We handle all communication with local authorities to ensure compliance with zoning and building codes.

Timing: Usually 2-4 weeks, but varies by location.

Ready for Materials
Once permits are approved and interconnection is in progress, we order the materials for your project.
We keep you updated on timelines for delivery and installation.
Submit Additional Forms for SREC Process
To ensure you are enrolled in the SREC market, we submit additional forms and complete the final steps of the SREC application process while your installation is prepared.

This step secures your ability to generate and sell SRECs.

Solar System Installation
💪 installation time
Once materials are delivered, we schedule your installation. Our highly trained team ensures a smooth installation process.

Timing: Usually 1-3 days for the full installation, depending on system size.

System Inspection
After installation, we submit the project for inspection with local inspectors. This step ensures everything is installed to code and in compliance with all regulations.
Timing: 1-2 weeks for scheduling and inspection approval.
Utility Approval (PTO)
☀️ power is on
After passing inspection, the utility company completes its final review and grants Permission to Operate (PTO).

Once PTO is granted, your system is officially turned on and starts generating electricity.

Timing: This can take 1-4 weeks, depending on the utility company.

SREC Enrollment & Tracking
Once your system is operational, you are fully enrolled in the SREC market.
We assist in tracking your SRECs and provide guidance on how to monitor, sell, or manage your SRECs as they are generated.
You will begin earning SRECs based on the amount of solar energy your system produces.
